Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained net buyers in equities worth Rs 10,813 million (USD 268.10 million) on December 5. They bought equities worth Rs 55,155 million and sold equities worth Rs 44,342 million. Till December 5, they have been net buyers in equities worth Rs 4,020 million.
According to provisional data available on NSE, FIIs remained net buyers in the equity segment worth Rs 4,921 million on both BSE and NSE on December 6. They bought equities worth Rs 48,554 million and sold equities worth Rs 43,633 million. Total turnover in cash segment of NSE stood at Rs 219,041.9 million on December 6.
FIIs remained net buyers in debt segment on December 5 to the tune of Rs 4,886 million (USD 121.10 million). They bought debts worth Rs 5,337 million and sold debts worth Rs 451 million. Till December 5, they have been net buyers in debt worth Rs 2,201 million.
FIIs turned net sellers in derivatives worth Rs 12,052.3 million on December 5. They bought derivatives worth Rs 17,094.6 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 29,146.9 million.
As per the latest data (provisional) available on the NSE, FIIs remained net sellers in derivatives worth Rs 2,359.57 million on December 6. They bought derivatives worth Rs 27802.63 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 30162.20 million. Total turnover in F&O segment of NSE stood at Rs 664,727.4 million on December 6.
