The Indian Rupee remained steady against the US Dollar on Dec. 17, 2007.
The Reserve Bank of India`s (RBI) reference rate for the US Dollar stood at Rs 39.37 on December 17, as against the previoius close of Rs 39.35.
On the other hand, the domestic currency gained 1.37% versus the Euro on the same day. The reference rate for Euro stood at Rs 56.83 on December 17 as against Rs 57.62 on the previous working day.
As revealed in the table below, the local currency appreciated 1.11% against the Great Britain Pound (GBP), and 0.51% against the Japanese Yen (taking into account 100 Yen).
