Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained net sellers in equities worth Rs 10,925 million (USD 270.8 million) on December 19. They bought equities worth Rs 25,850 million and sold equities worth Rs 36,775 million. Till December 19, they have been net sellers in equities worth Rs 580 million.
According to provision data available on NSE, FIIs remained net sellers in the equity segment worth Rs 7,667.2 million on both BSE and NSE on December 20. They bought equities worth Rs 24,164.6 million and sold equities worth Rs 31,831.8 million. Total turnover in cash segment of NSE stood at Rs 142,326.9 million on December 20.
FIIs turned net buyers in debt segment on December 19 to the tune of Rs 7 million (USD 0.20 million). They bought debts worth Rs 65 million and sold debts worth Rs 58 million. Till December 19, they have been net buyers in debt worth Rs 6,440 million.
FIIs turned net buyers in derivatives worth Rs 4,611.3 million on December 19. They bought derivatives worth Rs 114,152.1 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 109,540.8 million.
