Texmaco speeds up on strong Q3 results

On BSE, 10986 shares were traded in the counter. The scrip had an average daily volume of 11906 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 1825.35 and touched a low of Rs 1760.10 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1965.50 on 2 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 710 on 7 March 2007.

The mid-cap scrip had underperformed the market over the market over the past one month till 11 January 2008 rising 0.57% compared to the Sensex’s rise of 3.60%. It outperformed the market over the past one quarter, surging 54.34% compared to Sensex’s gain of 13.08%.

Texmaco’s current equity share capital is Rs 10.32 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 1799.80 discounts its Q2 September 2007 annualized EPS of Rs 49.02 by a PE multiple of 36.71.

Texmaco reported 107.39% spurt in net profit to Rs 14.58 crore on 84.65% growth in net sales to Rs 160.54 crore in Q3 December 2007 over Q3 December 2006. The company declared results after trading hours on Monday, 14 January 2008.
