Ramsarup Industries secured order amounting Rs 440 million from North East Frontier Railways for wires. The order will be executed within current quarter.
Ramsarup Industries (RAMINDU3), a Kolkata-based company, was incorporated in 1979 and manufactures wires and TMT bars. The company serves railways, housing, power, roads and bridges, water management, and defense sectors. Ramsarup Industries, formerly known as Ramsarup Engineering Industries Limited, changed its name to Ramsarup Industries in 2005. Ashish Jhunjhunwaia, the Chairman and Managing Director, is the promoter of the company.
Shares of the company gained Rs 11.25, or 3.98%, to trade at Rs 294.15. The total volume of shares traded was 87,582 at the BSE. (11.58 a.m., Friday)
