Brokers outlook: Market likely to remain positive on Thursday

Bharat Thakur, assistant manager, Karvy Stock Broking, said that on Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2007) the market was up by 893 points as buying was witnessed in banking and fertilizer sectors. Moreover, positive global cues from the U.S, European and Asian markets helped the Sensex to garner the largest intra-day gain.

He expects market to continue to be bullish on Thursday (Nov. 15, 2007). Bharat recommended stocks like REl, Cranes, Punj Lloyd and Patel Engineering.

Rohit Mehra, head equities, Dimpi Investments, said that on Wednesday, the Sensex gained a massive 893 points on the back of global cues and robust buying witnessed in the market.

He added that buying activity which was particularly witnessed in fertilizer and power sector pulled the market considerably.

Rohit expects market to gain 200-300 points on Thursday (Nov. 15, 2007). He recommended stocks from fertilizer sector for trading.
