Indian ADRs end higher

US stocks rose on Wednesday (December 5) after the new data showed that the overall economy is holding up but isn`t too strong to prevent the Federal Reserve from cutting interest rates.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 196.23 points, or 1.48%, to 13,444.96, resuming the big recovery it launched last week following a mostly dismal November.

The NASDAQ composite index rose 46.53 points, or 1.78%, to 2,666.36.

The yield on the 10-year treasury note, which moves inversely to its price, rose to 3.95% from 3.90% late Tuesday.

Indian ADRs following their US counterparts ended the day on a positive note.
