Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned net buyers in equities worth Rs 14,804 million (USD 367 million) on November 30. They bought equities worth Rs 76,394 million and sold equities worth Rs 61,590 million. Till November 30, they have been net sellers in equities worth Rs 45,975 million.
According to provisional data available on NSE, FIIs turned net sellers in the equity segment worth Rs 392.5 million on both BSE and NSE on December 3. They bought equities worth Rs 54,873.5 million and sold equities worth Rs 55,266 million. Total turnover in cash segment of NSE stood at Rs 203,412.1 million on December 3.
FIIs turned net buyers in debt segment on November 30 to the tune of Rs 393 million (USD 9.70 million). They bought debts worth Rs 393 million but did not sell any debt. Till November 30, they have been net sellers in debt worth Rs 4,300 million.
FIIs were net sellers in derivatives worth Rs 3,856.6 million on November 30. They bought derivatives worth Rs 29,884.5 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 33,741.1 million.
As per the latest data (provisional) available on the NSE, FIIs remained net sellers in derivatives worth Rs 2,300.81 million on December 3. They bought derivatives worth Rs 18,422.83 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 20,723.65 million. Total turnover in F&O segment of NSE stood at Rs 548,165 million on December 3.
