Bharti Airtel and Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) today announced the launch of a joint venture company IFFCO Kisan Sanchar (IKSL), that is set to provide a major boost to Indian agriculture and the rural economy at large. The joint venture company will harness the power pf telecom to add value to the farm sector and empower the rural farmer by giving him access to vital information, which will enchance his livelihood and quality of life.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 02 May 2008.
