Spice Communication, on quarter on quarter basis, swings to profit in the quarter ended December 2007. During the quarter, the company posted a profit of Rs 3,999.17 million against the loss of Rs 55.33 million in the quarter ended September 2007.
Net sales for the quarter rose 1.34% to Rs 2,555.71 million compared with Rs 2,521.83 million in the previous quarter of the present year.

Total income rose 2.74 times to Rs 7,253.44 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 2,650.42 million for the quarter ended September 2007.
The EPS stood at Rs 6.76 for the quarter ended December 2007, against the loss per share Rs 0.50 in the previous quarter same year.
Annual Result:
The company posted a net profit of Rs 3,801.31 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2007 against the loss of Rs 245.20 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2006, an increase of 3.05%.
Total income for the year rose 77.07% to Rs 14,738.84 million compared with Rs 8,323.52 million last year.
The EPS stood at Rs 8.14 for the year ended Dec. 31, 2007.
