With commodities cooling down, markets in India and China will see good gains. So, its time to buy in and wait for the market to recover.
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned net buyers in equities worth Rs 5,372 million (USD 133.20 million) on March 19. They bought equities worth Rs 41,833 million and sold equities worth Rs 36,461 million.
Till March 19, they have been net sellers in equities worth Rs 24,297 million.
According to the provisional figures available at the NSE, FIIs remained net buyers in the equity segment worth Rs 3,761.3 million on both, the BSE and NSE on March 24. They bought equities worth Rs 28,843.9 million and sold equities worth Rs 25,082.6 million. Total turnover in the cash segment of NSE stood at Rs 108,047.4 million on March 24.
FIIs were absent in debts segment on March 19. Till March 19, they have been net sellers in debts worth Rs 5,825 million.
FIIs remained net buyers in derivatives worth Rs 19,092.5 million on March 19. They bought derivatives worth Rs 81,790.4 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 62,697.9 million.
Mutual funds (MFs) remained net sellers in equities worth Rs 2,915 million on March 19. They bought equities worth Rs 9,539 million and sold equities worth Rs 12,454 million. Till March 19, they have been net sellers in equities worth Rs 18,067 million.
MFs remained net buyers in the debt segment worth Rs 10,258 million on March 19. They bought debts worth Rs 23,931 million and sold debts worth Rs 13,674 million.
Till March 19, they have been net buyers in debts worth Rs 94,344 million.
