Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained net sellers in equities worth Rs 2,441 million (USD 60.50 million) on February 29. They bought equities worth Rs 38,009 million and sold equities worth Rs 40,450 million. Till February 29, they have been net buyers in equities worth Rs 51,267 million.
According to the provisional data available on NSE, FIIs remained net sellers in the equity segment worth Rs 7,113.1 million on both BSE and NSE on March 3. They bought equities worth Rs 34,168.7 million and sold equities worth Rs 41,281.8 million. Total turnover in the cash segment of NSE stood at Rs 127,542 million on March 3.
FIIs were absent in debt segment on February 29. Till February 29, they have been net buyers in debt worth Rs 24,968 million.
FIIs were net sellers in derivatives worth Rs 5,232.4 million on February 29. They bought derivatives worth Rs 41,097.6 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 46,330 million.
