The IT sector could be affected negatively as Finance Minister has not extended the 10A/10B sunset clause beyond FY `09.
In addition to this, increase in the excise duty for packaged software and bringing it at par with customized software will also add the negative impact on IT companies.
Domestic software business has also taken a hit on the back of introduction of service tax for customized software development.
