Budget 2009 Session from July 2, Union Budget on July 6

The budget session will start on July 2 and will go on till August 7, the cabinet meeting convened in Delhi on Monday decided.

According to the schedule economic survey will be tabled on July 2, while railway budget will be presented on July 3 and the union budget will be tabled in parliament on July 6. With UPA sticking to the promise that the union budget will be presented within 45 days of formation of government possibilities of a vote-on-account is relatively low.
