Private telecom services provider, Tata Teleservices today entered into a tie up with Israel-based global networking infrastructure solutions provider ECI Telecom to offer fixed broadband services across the country.
Under the agreement, TTSL (Tata Teleservices Limited) will deploy an all-IP next generation networking featuring ECI's High Focus Multi-Service Access Node (MSAN) and SR9000 Carrier Ethernet Switch Router (CESR) platforms, a press release said here.
"The solution allows us to deliver a full spectrum of nex-generation services today, well ahead of other operators in the market, while addressing our evolving needs," TTSL's President and Chief Technology Officer, A G Rao, said.
This end-to-end broadband access solution for TTSL's photon pro network has already been deployed across eight cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, the release said.
Tata Teleservices has operations in 3.2 lakh towns and villages across 22 telecom circles in the country.
