Global Cues

MARKET CUES
FIIs net buy $ 399.2 m in equity on Sep 20. MFs net sell were Rs 233.4 cr in equity on Sep 20. NSE F&O OI went up Rs 2,165 cr at Rs 93,414 crore

GLOBAL MARKET CUES
US stocks posted the biggest weekly gain since March.
Friday's trade: Dow went up 54 points at 13820; Nasdaq up 17 points at 2671.22. Asian markets trading higher; Japan, Korea & Taiwan are shut today. Yen is at 115.14/ $; hits intra-day low of 115.33/ $ & high of 115.09/ $. US dollar depreciates 0.23 bps vs euro, 0.05 bps vs rupee. Dollar has lost 6.3% YTD against euro
Crude oil falls for 2nd day as production rises in Gulf of Mexico. Crude oil at $ 81.32/bbl vs record high of $ 83.90, up 33% (YoY)

US RATE OUTLOOK
Fed Funds Futures show 72% chance of cut to 4.50% on Oct 31. Fed Funds Futures show 55% chance of cut to 4.25% on Dec 11

MARKET VOLATILITY
CBOE Volatility Index down 7.09% at 19 for 1st time since July 25
