Commodities trading firm Adani Enterprises jumped 9.59% to Rs 673.15. It topped gainers in BSE’s A group shares.
Housing financing firm Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) moved up 7.27% to Rs 2,572.55. It came second among top gainers in A group. The company will declare its Q2 September 2007 results on 29 October 2007.
Media firm Zee Entertainment Enterprises gained 6.28% to Rs 319.20 and came third among top gainers in A group. The company will declare its Q2 September 2007 results tomorrow, 23 October 2007.
State-run fertilizer firm Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company soared 6.11% to Rs 141.50. It stood fourth among top gainers in A group. The company today declared its Q2 September 2007 results, wherein it reported 63.1% rise in net profit to Rs 120.58 crore on 65.9% increase in sales to Rs 1141.18 crore in Q2 September 2007 over Q2 September 2006.
Textile firm Arvind Mills rose 5.71% to Rs 66.60. It was the fifth biggest gainer in A group.
